But as the days of
Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Dear friends, we
are getting closer to Jesus’ second coming, and today’s situations are not much
different from the days of Noah, where evil was very common (murder, abuse,
deception, disobedience, and so on).
However, God wants
us to live differently—He wants us to be like Noah who lived in righteousness.
It is also mentioned that “Noah walked with God”. Due to his obedience, Noah
and his family were saved from the flood. God always looks for those who obey
and are blameless. God is looking for them in the end times, instead of
lukewarm people who live in wickedness. To those who are lukewarm, God severely
said, “I will vomit you out of My mouth.” (Rev. 3:16)
Obedience requires
denial, crucifixion of flesh, and total surrender unto God. Many people say,
“Why must I bother serving the Lord? I should have spent my time earning money.
Don’t be too religious!” In fact, if we lose chances, we will regret it because
obedience always brings a reward—eternal life.
