The innocent are
those who obey the Lord and give their attention to His words. These people are
His beloved. On the contrary, God is so disappointed when His children refuse
to do His will and merely talk about His law.
There are two kinds
of building physically similar. But the difference of their quality is known
when they are shaken. A building with firm foundation won’t be shaky even
though it is attacked by the waters and the flood. A building built over a
ground without the firm foundation easily collapses when storm, wind, and flood
come.
Nowadays we need to
build our own ‘spiritual house’: to build our faith, our obedience, our perseverance,
our faithfulness, and so on. The house must be built on the Lord Jesus the firm
foundation. The quality of every ‘spiritual house’ will be seen while the storm
of troubles comes and attacks.
