Corinthians 1:6
Now if we are
afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for
enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it
is for your consolation and salvation.

Pain often reveals
God’s plan in human life. God never removes pain! It’s because through the
pain, He wants everyone to help others who suffer the same experience. He wants
you to share your life!
God can uses
troubles in your life to minister others. Even the most shameful one can be
used as a testimony to help others.
A man who has
experienced bankruptcy surely can help others with the same problem. A past
drug addict surely can help those who still struggle with addiction. Or,
someone who has lost his loved ones surely knows how to share empathy with
those who lost theirs.
Sometimes, pain you
most regret in life will be used by God as seeds that grow become a plant that
bears sweet fruits.
2 Corinthians 1:6
tells us great purpose of affliction and suffering. “…which is effective for
enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it
is for your consolation and salvation.”
This is what Jesus
did for us. When Jesus died on the cross, He actually did want to die that way.
But He had to go through suffering for redeeming human. As a result, we become
the citizens of God’s Kingdom.
Pain can come
because of wrong decision or action’s risk of others. However, be sure that God
let us go through that painful process and be healed so we can help others with
same trouble.
Pain
in life is allowed so we can sow a testimony.
