God gave each of us a conscience that brings a sense of guilt when we do wrong. In Romans, Paul describes our conscience as "accusing or else defending them [us]" ([bible]0Rome2:15[/bible]). For a devout follower of Christ, maintaining purity of conscience is an important means of maintaining moral compass even though we are not perfect morals. Confess, repent, and sin must be paid due to our way of life ([bible] iJohn1:9[/bible],[bible]Levit6:2-5[/bible]).
Paul, who gave an example of how keeping a clear conscience, saying, "Therefore I have always tried to live with a clear conscience before God and man" ([bible]0Acts24:16[/bible]). Through confession and repentance, he keeps his life before God. Is it a sin to disturb you? Follow the example of Paul. Strive to have a clear conscience – HDF.
If the word of God guides your conscience, let the conscience be your guide.
