Jeremiah 17:7
A blessing is on the man who puts his faith in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is
Bible Reading for a Year:[bible]Matth7:7-11[/bible];[bible]Roman8:24-28[/bible];[bible]Roman12:12[/bible]
People often get collapsed as their problem that would not go over. When someone has to face the problem, other problems began to grow and emerge, so that we become discouraged and give up.
For example, the life of flood victims in Jakarta which happened lately. Floods which often happen in Jakarta making some of them are getting overwhelmed. When floods come, it devastated the victim's house and all its contents. When the floods recede and he has not finished repairing his house yet, the next flood waves would come, as if it never finished.
Flood waves make our lives unconsciously blind to the expectations. We become depressed because our focus is on the problems and issues that occur in our lives without considering the fact that we have an extraordinary aid source, our Lord Jesus Christ.
We should remember that God never leaves us, no matter what happens in our lives as long as we trust in Him. As already said, "Trust in Him at all times, O people, pour out your heart before Him. God is our refuge." [Bible]Psalm62:8[/bible], we do not need to despair and depression in facing the problem because we have a great God. He is all-powerful and loves us, His people.
Therefore my brother, put our hope in Lord always. Commit your life to Him, and do not stop hoping.
And hope does not put to shame; because our hearts are full of the love of God through the Holy Spirit which is given to us. [bible]0Roma5:5[/bible]
