But Joseph refused, and said unto his master's wife: "With my help my master no longer regulate what is in this house, and he had given all his property in my power, even at home he is not more powerful and effective than me, and no that is not handed me other than you, because you are his wife. How can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? "

Year Bible Reading: [bible] Psalm12 [/bible], [bible]Matth12[/bible], [bible]Genes23-24[/bible]
Courage is a word of power, but it is hard to be found at a difficult time like this. Why? because courages can bring the risks for someone who practices it. If we dare to stand on the truth of the word of God, then there are many risks that we have to deal with the choices we make. In God's word, we see the courage of Joseph to reject sin, so he must bear the consequences of refusal.
At decisive moments in our lives, the courage is the only thing we need to save us from the deepest abyss. Sin peeks at us from all majors and is ready to pounce on us, as Peter said, "Be sober, be vigilant; opponent, the Devil, walking around like a roaring lion, seeking whom to devour. Resist him with faith firm, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are suffering the same. "([bible IPeter5 :8-9 [/bible]). If we are not aware, we will be attacked by the devil.
However, we see that Joseph had the courage to live holy, rejected sin which tries to intimidate him. Joseph's decision to bring a big risk was that he should be put in jail. But the encouraging thing is what was written later about the life of Joseph. It says, "But the Lord was with Joseph, and bestow His mercy to him, and made Joseph as the warden's favorite. Therefore the warden entrusted all prisoners on death row to Joseph, and all work to be done there, it was he who charge in. And the warden did not interfere all that was entrusted to Joseph, because the Lord was with him and what he did was the Lord works, "[bible]Genes39 :21-23 [/bible].
How it is amazing. The Lord is with those who dare to resist sin despite having to face the risk. When the Lord was with Joseph, then he also would accompany us who believe in Him. Come on, have the courage to resist sin.
Stand up for the truth is very expensive, but God will be with those who want to live in God's standards. Have we already lived in this kind of courage?
