also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ
Jesus our Lord.

In a special
service for men, the pastor asked them to share their stories dealing with sin.
They began to share with each other, and then they prayed for each other. Each
of them was encouraged to keep fighting with sins by being conscious that they
are dead to sin and alive in God.
The Bible
clearly states that the wages of sin is death. This truth is familiar to the believers.
Yet, in fact, many of them are still trapped in their “favorite” sins.
Therefore, the Scripture reminds us of how believers killing sin.
First,
realize that sinful life is a part of the past because we now live in Christ.
Second, learn to live in the truth of Christ. Turn yourself to God and remember
that God hates sin.
Sins offer
the feelings of security, safe, and comfort. But their effect is harmful. Sins
snare and affect our body, spirit, and soul and ruin our relationship with God.
So, don’t let sin allure and enslave us.
We can get out of the trap of sin
only by focusing on God’s help.
