Ephesians 5:15-16
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

No matter how perfect your plan is, some obstacles would turn it into a mess. The obstacles could be an indiscipline, procrastination, and incapability. Perhaps we cannot control over all of them, but we can change them.
I experience that situation. I often make goal setting—daily, weekly, and monthly, but my bad time management ruins it in the end. The failure in achieving the goal certainly affects our success. In this case, it is important for us to put the priorities properly.
Another obstacle is procrastination. We all procrastinate, but for some of us procrastination has become a habit. If so, we can plan many great goals but never achieve it. Success moves away if we are lazy.
The other obstacle is lack of focus. To succeed, we have to focus on a certain task and stay consistent with it until they are finished. But many times our consistency gets lower for many reason—temptation from the surroundings or changing mood.
Ephesians 5:15-16 tells us to walk circumspectly, redeeming the time. God wants us to achieve all things—including success—He has set for us with the time He has given. Therefore, let us change and control every obstacle to success which comes when we want to do His will. Manage you mind and time according to His will, and success in the eyes of the Lord will follow.
Time is grace God gives us, and we are responsible to Him for the way we use it.
