Bible Reading for a Year [bible]psalm15[/bible]; [bible]matth15[/bible]; [bible]jonah1-4[/bible]

Jeffrey Davis writes his book 1.000 Marbles because he is encouraged by a senior announcer of his radio show. This announcer asked the listeners to set their priorities due to the life’s limit. If someone would die at 75, and when the years of his life is multiplied by 52 (the number of weeks in a year), then that man has 3.900 weeks he could take advantage of.

At that moment the announcer has been 55 years old. So, if he would live until 75 then it means he has 1.000 weeks left! Shortly after that, he ran into a toy store. He bought 1.000 marbles and put them in a jar. Every single week he would draw a marble from the jar, and then threw it away. Since then, he was reminded of how decreasing his lifetime was, and learned to use his time wisely. He should set his life priorities and prioritize the most important things.

Without setting the priority, we just waste our time for unimportant or unnecessary things. On the contrary, the right priorities can direct us to our main purpose: glorify His name through every aspect in life. So, have you sought the kingdom of God? Has our family glorified Him? Has our work reflected His mercy? Has our ministry declared His mighty power? Seek first the kingdom of God, and then we do not have to worry because He will provide everything we need. –AW

Do not let activities or routines engross you, but set your priorities and put Christ first in it.
