Luke 22:25-26
And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’ But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves.

Too often a leader commands this and that, ask us to reach this vision and that mission. And then he starts to delegate the authority and ask everyone to make them come true.
That is a journey of leadership. Of course, it takes a vision and purpose to reach, but the vision itself must be implemented: through a workshop, giving support, direction, and praise for any development and result, and keep leading.
Jesus is the best example for it. He led and developed His people by going through all the towns and villages. And then His disciples asked Him, “How to be a greatest?” Jesus replied, “Be a servant.”
They might ask “How to be a leader?”
He answered, “Start by being a follower.”
Jesus showed leadership. He taught and inspired His disciples to lead like He did. He did not keep the distance. He lived with them, visited their house, dined with them, and served them.
How many bosses that comes to his employee’s house to have dinner and he said, “Put off your shoes because I want to wash your feet” ? Jesus did so, and so do we.
A leader shall stay under to encourage the next leaders to reach the top.
