Evoking the Spiritual Body

“It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.”

If our natural body is beaten, we will be wounded and even dead. Our spiritual body will be wounded as well, if it is beaten. Unfortunately, our spiritual body is intangible, while natural body is not.
Intangible things are more difficult to maintain than tangible ones. For example, which is more difficult to maintain? Short or long distance relationship?
It is harder to keep our spiritual body than natural one, especially when we are unwell, both naturally and spiritually. When our natural body gets sick, we become lazy to do any activity. We just want to sleep. When our natural body gets ‘sick’, we must be so far from God. Therefore, when those bodies are both sick, our spiritual body must suffer.
However, in order to evoke the spiritual body we do need to sacrifice, even destroy our natural body with all of its desire. No one says that it is easy, but we are able to do so when we focus on things that are bigger than what world gives us.
It is even more important, that when our natural body is really destroyed, then we will get spiritual body that more glorious. So, chase honorable things, chase what is more meaningful in our life.
Our natural body has to die first before we can use the more glorious spiritual body.
