One of the events that occurred during the first Christmas on earth is heavenly armies praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest and peace on earth among men who please Him." From there we may see that peace on earth has been declared since Jesus was born into this world. However, many of you who are wondering, 'Where is that peace'?
Billy Graham wrote in his devotional book, Hope for Each Day, declare peace dwells in the hearts of all those who have believed His grace. Further it is revealed that if the world has trusted Christ, then the world also has peace. But as we know, our world is constantly ravaged by war and dissatisfaction.
According to Billy Graham, the most destructive war for this world is not about a war between nations, but rather a war between God and us, which we are determined to rebel against His authority and boldly live a life apart from Him.
Jesus comes to restore this situation. He ended the war between the Creator with His creation. When we accept Christ as our Lord then war was over. When the war ends instantly then peace between us and God, ourselves, and our neighbors can we perceive and experience immediately.
The question now is, have the war already ended in your life? If not, will you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and feel true peace? The answer and the decision are now in your hands.
You can only find true peace when you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and give Him the living space in your heart
