Being honest and extrovert in a relationship is not easy, however as a best friend, this is could be an important element. Since a true friendship built on trust and it never happens without any truthfulness.
Likewise us, God wants us to be His best friends who are expecting a transparent relationship and honest. No one of them is perfect. Since perfection is not a requirement to be His best friend. He only wants transparency and truthfulness.
Doesn’t it relieve, does it? All good best friends of God such as Abraham, Moses, David, Job, and others have experienced some periods of indecision, trouble, anger and disappointment. But they could honestly express all their feelings before God. Can God accept their honesty? Definitely! Lord hears every word of His companions.
Perhaps in our immaturity, there is anger and disappointment that we buried in God because we can not understand His plan well. God wants us to come to Him and finish it, because bitterness is the biggest barrier in a friendship, it can even kill it. Do not be afraid to be honest with the Lord, let us build openness with Him.
To be a friend of God we do not have to be perfect and without any blemish, however we have to be honest and open with Him.
