Psalms 123:1
I lift up my eyes to you to you who sit enthroned in heaven
Bible Reading for A Year:[bible]Psalm18[/bible];[bible]Matth18[/bible];[bible]0Amos6-7[/bible]
In this difficult age, many of us feel disgrace as we keep an eye on situation which is bad and it eventually constructs our mind-set and affects our helplessness and absurdity to speak. As the result, we feel uncertain about God’s favor and promises.
That’s what the devil likes! The devil knows when we lift up our eyes to good things, our faith becomes strong. Therefore he wants us to see it on contrary so our lives get trapped and shattered. If Joseph keeps an eye on troubles and suffering only, then his dream that came from God is just only dream and it never comes true.
However, as he lifts up his eyes to God and His promises, Joseph has power to undergo those hard days and God’s promises had lastly been fulfilled in his life: he becomes the ruler of Egypt. Abraham looks God’s promise through his life. “He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be” (Genesis 15:5). Abraham then waited patiently and received what was promised (Hebrews 6:15).
Let’s lift up our eyes to God only. It looks like a window and a door of our hearts, where ever we go, our eyes will construct our hearts and it affects the whole aspect of our lives.
