Psalms 30:12-13
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, to the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

In today’s bible reading, Psalms 30, David gave the Lord so much praises for His help when David was in trouble. David appropriately sang Psalms 30 at the dedication of the house of David. Isn’t the house of David a place where the Lord sits enthroned? As a matter of fact, the house of David represents our heart.
Many times we are in the midst of trouble, and we think the problem is so serious that we cannot handle it. However, as we look back, we learn that yesterday’s problem, which we used to consider very serious is today’s nothing.
Let us look back once again. Have we been grateful for all things God has done in our life? Have we given Him thanks for His goodness? Be grateful, even the problem is still there, and believe that He will help you.
The praise to the Lord should come from the heart. David believed fully that God would help him. He gave thanks after God’s help came. He said that he would give thanks to God forever. It is an amazing declaration. Adopt his declaration as ours, “I will give thanks to God forever, no matter what I am going through.”
Whether your problem is not solved yet, or you are in the big trouble, or your problem is already solved, give thanks. Sing to the Lord a new song, sing it from the heart. The mourning is turned into dancing, the sackcloth is put off, and gladness is clothed. God pulled our soul out of the grave, brought us up, and we will never be shaken because God is with us.
Whether your problem is not solved yet, or you are in the big trouble, or your problem is already solved, give thanks. God will bring us up and we will never be shaken.
