Many times we have many whys in our life due to problems that always come. Problems can come in our life every time, as long as we are breathing. But it’s how we respond to them that determines how we carry on.
Sometimes we make bad decision that leads to fatal consequence and misery. But what matters is how we learn and not fall into the same hole twice.
If we already know that abusing drugs leads to misery, why do we still desire its temporary pleasure? If we already know that using credit cards leads to overshopping, why do we still let ourselves trapped in that situation?
Perhaps the most proper question to ask when those circumstances occur is, do we do that in the name of God? Do we do that to please Him? Or, are we blurred by the worldly pleasures that last for a while?
Do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus. If we have a broken family, give thanks and pray for the parents instead of using drugs. If we have debts, start giving thanks and self-disciplining. If our spouse always makes trouble, start praying for him/her and be open with each other. Begin doing everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks for His goodness.
