Do you know that our journey of life depends on choices we make? Life is full of rocky and winding roads. Sometimes we meet dangerous intersections. Therefore, do not let us go astray!
If we walk with God daily and fully surrender our life journey to Him and let Him show you which way to choose, then we can surely say, “Lead me, o God, in any ways You are going to show me.”
In the beginning, Saul and David were not so different. Both of these young men were anointed by God and good-looking. Did God choose those men because of their physical appearance? Of course not. The Bible says, “For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7b)
Both Saul and David began the career with humility and they were crowned as king at almost the same age. Until finally they had to deal with intersection; they had to choose which way to go. The way he chose brought David and his career to success and he got the glory. On the contrary, due to walking the wrong way, Saul was cast down and his life ended tragically.
Choosing the wrong way in the intersection can change our whole life. If we walk with God daily and fully surrender our life journey to Him and let Him show you which way to choose, then we live our life according to His will.
