We are not aware that there are so many things in our daily life that lead us to anger. For instance, in road, a driver or a walker could be angered because another driver overtakes him or almost hit him. Due to uncontrollable anger, we lose our joy all day long.

Is the anger proper and right? To be angry is human, but we need to be angry properly. The Lord Jesus was angry knowing that the temple of God was like ‘den of thieves’. Of course Jesus was so angry.

But Jesus was angry so that the purpose of the temple of God remained, that was for the house of worship. Jesus’ anger was appropriate because He wanted to remind them of their mistakes at that time. Any of them might accept or refuse the anger.

We are easily angered, but does the anger have any purpose? It should not be merely vent of emotion that leads to devastation. May God give us wisdom so that we can manage anger and use it for developing others in right time and in proper way.

Choosing to be angry wisely and properly is far more acceptable to others than choosing to be angry with constant emotion.
