When dealing with uncomfortable situation, many times people respond naturally as humans—we are angry, we hate it, and even cry constantly. In my own experience, I even blamed God and try to control Him – “Why is this happening to me/our family?”, “Why don’t You let it happen to those who obviously do evil?” and so on.
However, as a matter of fact, our natural response just worsens us and makes us harder to carry on.
The author of Psalm 119 said that he got blessing by obeying God’s command. In other words, when one obeys what God orders, he will find blessing.
Blessing does not solely depend on life with good things and without troubles, problems, and sorrow. Rather, we set our heart upon the God and listen to His words in spite of terrible and hurtful situation. Then in the end we will get the blessing.
What are you or your family experiencing today? Is it unreasonable treatment or the family having tragedy and need a lot of money? No matter what it is, if you are willing to response in God’s way then in the end you will find blessing.
The best response in everything in this life is having attitude and taking steps according to the word of God.
