Galatians 1:1

Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead),

Saul’s personal encounter with God while he was going to Damascus becomes new chapter of his life and he turned into Paul, the Evangelist. Paul’s enemies told others that his message and ministry were not from God. Paul admitted himself as an apostle, but not according to apostolical tradition. Thus, his words were not considered righteous.

But in this part Paul explained that his message and preaching came from God (Galatians 1:11-12). God has chosen him as an apostle to preach the gospel especially for the Gentiles (Galatians 1:16, Galatians 2:7-9).

Paul explained how he met God personally and how it changed his life, from a persecutor to a preacher of the gospel that served God completely because he knew that God is alive and righteous (Galatians 1:13-24).

Since the encounter, Paul was changed from the severe persecutor that persecute the church of God into a man who preach the gospel radically. All begins with a personal encounter with God that is able to change life. God changes the focus of our life, turning not into the world but into Him; not for ourselves but for serving others. Do you believe that the encounter with God is able to change your whole life?

Many times, through an encounter, someone is changed totally. So it is with our personal encounter with God; it can change us and make us different from this world.
