Acts 1:11
Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Bible Reading for a Year [bible]psalm21[/bible]; [bible]icori10[/bible]; [bible]isamu8-9[/bible]
In my life right now, I often meet Christians who doubt the existence of God. Even though they do not claim as atheists, their attitude and behavior show that they reject the existence of God.
When I try to find out why they doubt God, it turns out that because they cannot see God physically. Whereas when we read the Bible we find promises that people who believe in Him will meet Him in His time.
And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (Acts 1:10-11)
What the words “Jesus shall so come in” written above mean? Those mean that He will appear or show Himself for the second time to the world including His people. In other words, we will really see Him directly.
May the words from two men in white apparel after Jesus ascended to heaven be refuge, hope and strength while following Him. Make up your mind that our waiting moment will end in mercy.
Keep faithful in following Lord Jesus because there will be time when He will return, and you will meet Him directly.
