Moment when Jesus Christ appeared to His disciples after being crucified, dead, and buried was a moment of deliverance. What kind of deliverance that the disciples went through? At that moment, the disciples were delivered from worrying, fear, and anxiety of Christ’s power.

Jesus convinced His disciples that it is His body that has been crucified and dead, but now alive. “Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.” (Luke 24:39-40). And He also said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” (John 20:27)

Jesus’ appearing moment proves that Christ is able. His resurrection is the foundation of Christian faith. If Jesus Christ has not been raised from the dead, then our faith is useless; it means we are miserable people and remain live under curse and judgment.

The appearance of Jesus after being raised also frees us who are convinced that when we believe that He is risen, then we get the guarantee that we will be raised and have hopeful life as well. (John 11:25)
