In his proverbs, Solomon said, “He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he gives of his bread to the poor” (Proverbs 22:9). The generous people are those who want to help others that poor and weaker even though the poverty overtakes them at that moment. However, through the poverty they are willing to support and care weaker people.

That’s how a generous man can be, and God will never disregard what he does. He will bless him abundantly according to His promise. Proverbs 19:17 also states, “He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, and He will pay back what he has given.”

Therefore, if we help or have a pity on the weaker or the poor, God owes us instead of people whom we help. And He will return or pay back to us abundantly.

Being blessed by God abundantly is God’s grace that needs to be thankful for, and that is a chance for us to bless others.
