Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.

Many people make the wrong priority. Perhaps that’s because of struggle they are going through. We heard news about a man who sells his organ for the latest gadget. There are also some people who sell their bodies for making living. Some people work hard from dawn to night every day in order to gain position, achievement, or money.

The wrong priority is also found in many aspects of life besides financial, for instance, in politic. Some people are willing to sell their vote for Rp 50 thousand. However, some choose to completely abstain so they won’t be bothered. Those who get seats determine our destiny, though. That’s the reason why taking part in election is so important.

And so it is with relationship. Some lose their faith in God for getting mate. In social life, we are ‘insensitive’ to poverty around us. That’s because we are already blinded with our own problems.

Have you ever read the story about some people who overworked and then died? Have you ever ran out of money but still survive? Or, have you ever been so desperate because of problems but finally found way out?

Life is more than food. So let us fill this life with valuable things. The body is more than clothing, so do not ruin our bodies. Because both of them, the life and the body, will perish someday, but can be used to glorify God.

 

We need to make priority. The Bible said that life is more than food and the body is more than clothing. Even though they will perish, both of them can be used to glorify God.
