Bible Reading for A Year: Psalms 102; Luke 14; Joshua 15-16

The resentment means a deep revenge which causes hatred and revenge to someone who hurts us, so that it has us relieved. Many people do resentment by curse, blasphemy, or praying for their badness.

Even, there is possibility for many God’s children doing these things, such as praying for the fallen of those who hurt us, as well as asking God to be the avenger of our pain and resentment.

If today you have resentment, please take a look David who chose not to do any revenge and keep declaring his love unconditionally, especially for Saul who hated and made his life in troubles.

Even when Saul died at war and David became the king, he did not take revenge to Saul’s family. Moreover, Saul’s grandson, Mephibosheth who was paralyzed being asked to live with him, even he was given a right to have a dinner with him.

David only wants to show his faith that God’s love is greatly blessing all people. Those who have resentment means no having acknowledgment to God. The Bible says, “Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John4:8)

Love heartily is same with God loves us as well as given to anyone, including to our foes. There is no reason for us refusing kind of this love, because God actually demonstrates it on us.

Do we still prefer having hatred and waiting the right time to do any resentment or do we begin to forgive and to love?
