2 Corinthians 12:7
And lest I
should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in
the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted
above measure.

A thorn in
the flesh Paul mentioned in [bible]iicor12[/bible] can be a flaw; something that
exists since one was born. More precisely, it is a result of beating, accident,
or throwing stones.
Whatever it
is, Paul was so irritated by that thorn in the flesh that he asked God three
times to let the burden be lifted. But God replied, “My grace is sufficient for
you,” ([bible]iicor12:9[/bible]). In details, Jesus said, “Paul, I do not want
to heal you at the moment. I give you Myself. I give you My presence, and this
is My answer to you.”
Sometimes we
suffer physically and ask God to heal us, and we pray for this over and over
again. We ask God for miraculous healing. But there are times when our prayers
seem unanswered, and God simply says, “My grace is sufficient for you.” It
seems like God won’t answer our prayer for healing, but in fact, God wants to
heal us in His miraculous way.
When you ask
God in the midst of adversity, hurt, or life’s storm, God never leaves you
alone. He says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” In any troubles you
are dealing with in your life, God is always with you, stands by you to help
you.
In weakness, God’s strength is
revealed.
