And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Bible Reading for a Year [bible]psalm94[/bible]; [bible]0luke6[/bible]; [bible]deute33-34[/bible]

A farmer was so sad because his only treasure, a donkey that he had cared for since a long time ago, fell into a well. He had asked his neighbors for help, but all attempts were in vain. All of them persuaded him to let the donkey go. And, to avoid smell and diseases from the dead body, his neighbor recommended to put soil into the well.

While the well was being heaped up, the donkey kept groaning. They thought the donkey must have been dead. But they were surprised when the donkey jumped out! It turned out that the donkey always wagged every heap of dirt that fallen onto his head. The dirt was gradually piled under his feet and became a new foothold to him.

When Paul served God, he had to go through many challenges, obstacles, and persecution. However, he did not give up and give in because he was really convinced of his call in sharing gospel to the Gentiles. And his experience with God has strengthened him to endure anything. Moreover, the obstacles turned into his new footholds in fulfilling the God’s calling, that was “a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.” ([bible]0acts9:15[/bible])

And how did God make Paul able to share the gospel to kings and the household? It turned out that through the persecution and arrest he met the officials that judge him.

So, if today you are going through hardships, obstacles, and challenges; do not give up. With the eyes of faith that turn to Christ, let us make every hardship as a strong foothold to reach the God’s purpose in our life –SST

When we ask God to lead our life, every moment will be useful for our good.
