Philippians 1:21

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Bible Reading For A Year:[bible]Psalm114[/bible];[bible]iCori2[/bible];[bible]Judge15-17[/bible]

Bank in Binghamton, New York sent bouquets of flower to its rival which recently moved to a new building. There was mistake happening at the florist shop, so the greeting which was showed off at the card written, “From our deepest condolence.”

The florist’s owner was really ashamed and then asked for apologize. However, he was getting embarrassed when he realized that card which aimed to the bank has sent to the funeral home in order to honor dead people. Its card was written, “Welcome to your new home!”

Actually its greeting is precisely aimed for Christians as they have just moved to a new wonderful place when they died. They have united with the Christ, their miseries and grieves has faded away forever.

By the end of his life, Paul said that having a desire to depart with Christ is much better than staying in the world (Philippians 1:23).

Farewell is hurting. However, as a Christian we should not grief like those whom do not have any hope. In contrary, we should have a joy, even by tears, as those whom we loved have lived in a new place, heaven.

When those who believed in God died, it is good for us to say (if possible), “Welcome to your new place!”

Do not plug the pegs too deep as tomorrow we will die.
