Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Bible Reading for A Year:[bible]Psalm113[/bible];[bible]1Corin1[/bible];[bible]Judge13-14[/bible]

Years ago in the hinterland of African, people are dying due to their water supplies contaminated. Experts were puzzled because the villagers got water from fresh mountain spring water. When the experts send some divers to investigate the hole of its spring water, they were surprised because there was apparently a large swine and her children got drowning and then being wedged in there. Decaying swine carcasses made its water polluted. Finally after those carcasses were removed, and the water then continues to flow, the river has become clean and pure again.

Just like the river, as well as our lives when we store bitterness, hurt and negative things in our hearts. Spring water of our life that comes from God is pure and healthy, but when it flows into our hearts, our hearts become polluted because of all the negative things and we are clutching bitterness and unforgiveness. It was eventually not only polluting our lives, but also the people who around us.

That is why Paul advises the Ephesians to not keep anger for too long, "let the sun go on your anger" ([bible]ephes4: 26[/bible]). We must forgive and decelerate our angers soon.

Do not let any "carcass" to settle and trapped in our hearts. Handle it right away if you feel hurt or angry, it is simple: just come to God, leave all your pain to Him, forgive, and if necessary go to those who have hurt you and fix it.

When we longer grab the hatred, then the root of bitterness will growing deeper.
