Numbers 12:2

And they said, “Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has he not spoken through us also?” And the Lord heard it.

Bible Reading for A Year:[bible]Psalm105[/bible];[bible]0Luke17[/bible];[bible]Josua21-22[/bible]

Moses had many less enjoyable experiences when he led Israel to the Promise Land. One of its events that could potentially make him bitter is when his two siblings, Aaron and Miriam rebelled him.

No half-hearted, his closest people openly said that they wanted to take over the position of Moses as a prophet of God. Although it is not written in the Bible, but we may be sure that Moses was certainly surprised to hear what Miriam and Aaron told.

However, what's interesting is shown in the Bible. Moses did not become angry or decided to resign because of their acts, the people whom he loved to. Instead, he remained faithful and heartened to allow God to be the judge of them. He even forgave Mary and Aaron when God revealed His justice.

In serving God, there are times when we run into problems or even such unpleasant things like Moses had. By the time that happens, we need to remember that we are doing this ministry for and to God, so we should not lose the sincerity and loyalty. Moreover, we do not have to think about how to avenge those who hurt us. We only need to forgive them and allow God to declare His righteousness; as well as His time and ways. – ALS
