1 Peter 2:9

But you are a special people, a holy nation, priests and kings, a people given up completely to God, so that you may make clear the virtues of him who took you out of the dark into the light of heaven.

Bible Reading for A Year:[bible]Psalm85[/bible];[bible]Roman13[/bible];[bible]Deute17-18[/bible]

Recently, a bowl has become one of  international news. The bowls were originally purchased at a garage sell by a family from New York for $ 3, it is apparently antique bowls of the Northern Song Dynasty in China with over 1000 years of age, while the price in the auction at the auction house Sotheby's sold 2.2 million dollars worth of 21.6 billion dollars.

Obsolete goods can be very valuable and expensive because of its value origin. For example, Sotheby's had auctioned toothbrush Napoleon and sold 21,000 dollars and fake pearl which was belonged by Jackie Kennedy Onassis sold 211,500 dollars. If it is seen from the value of its goods, may be it is worthless, but because of its origins, it becomes expensive stuff.

Just imagine, if something belongs to God assessed by the auction house, how much approximately is it? Of course it is very expensive value. Did you know, that we were like a well-worn objects, we are not perfect and full of flaws, but because we are "people of God" ([bible] ipeter2: 9[/bible]) then the value of our lives to be very expensive .

If those worn items were purchased with money of thousands of dollars, our lives purchased by Lord with the blood of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Redeemer. We have been purchased with an expensive and good price, we are His. Is it awesome? Realizing that we are precious in God's eyes, it should be enough to make us go through this life in every second with full enthusiasm.

In the view of people, perhaps we are alike worthless "obsolete", but in the eyes of God we are a treasure.
