I
Tim 6:7
For we brought
nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
The life of every
believer should depend on faith of God’s promises. We need to realize that we
will face trouble and spiritual war during our lifetime. But the Bible clearly
stated that our faith overcomes the world. “And this is the victory that has
overcome the world––our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who
believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 John 5:4b-5)
What is “the world”?
It is the system and the ways of the world: being selfish, collecting wealth
improperly, treating the weak badly, and taking advantage from others. Only
faith can overcome our flesh so we can live according to God’s will.
For instance, we
tend to desire something. There’s nothing wrong with desire to own something, if
it’s noble and good for us. But if it’s bad, it will ruin our life. (read I Tim
6:9-10)
Being
rich and love of money is human’s desire. In the end such desire will ruin his
life.
