Are you bored with
your routine? Have you ever been or are you now bored with your routine? What
makes you bored? The Scriptures say that we should not lag in diligence. This
surely reminds everyone to not decrease in faithfulness, especially in following
the Lord.
For an instance,
when you are working in a company and you dedicate yourself, then that company
will give you reward according to what you have done for it. And so it is in
following the Lord. He will give guarantee for those who faithfully follow Him.
Why is it important
to be faithful? It’s because our God is faithful. He has shown his faithfulness
to you so you can imitate Jesus. What do you need to be faithful? You need
“commitment”. Commitment is what you put in your heart for the sake of
something you will achieve no matter what.
Deuteronomy
7:9 Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who
keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and
keep His commandments.
Ask the Holy Spirit
to help you fulfilling your commitment. Do not ever rely on your own strength.
Blessed are those who trust God, but cursed are those who put their trust in
mere humans. Perhaps religious activities are merely routines to you, but you
should believe that there’s salvation beyond such things.
Keep
in mind that boredom is nothing compared to the salvation you will receive.
