Whatever you do,
must have felt intimidated by the devil. Sometimes a lot of voices attack you.
And of course, these are sounds that weaken your faith. Maybe the devil said
"you cannot" or "you are not worthy". It is a Satan’s
weapon to weaken the faith of God's children.
Intimidasi ini
pertama kali menyerang melalui pikiran Anda. Ketika Anda terus menerima
intimidasi iblis, Anda tidak akan bisa untuk maju dan berkembang. Masih ingat
dengan kisah Sadrakh, Mesakh dan Abednego? Ketika raja nebukadnezar
mengintimidasi mereka agar menyembah patung saat itu ?
The intimidation
comes first in our mind. When you are being intimidated by the devil, you
cannot step forward and develop. Do you remember the story of Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abed–Nego, when King Nebuchadnezzar intimated them to worship an idol?
"Now
if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre,
and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and
worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall
be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the
god who will deliver you from my hands?" (Daniel 3:15)
Did they worship
the idol due to Nebuchadnezzar’s intimidation?
Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abed–Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar,
we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom
we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will
deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king,
that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you
have set up." (Daniel 3:16-18)
They chose to not
worship the image, because they believed God would deliver them. And even
though God didn’t deliver them, they still refused to worship the idol. The
children of God should stand firm and keep God’s promises. Therefore, when
intimidation attacks the mind, you can fight against it immediately. How to do
it? By the word of God. Speak God’s word all the time.
When the devil
says, “You are not worthy”, tell him God’s words in Isaiah 43:4 “Since you were
precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I
will give men for you, And people for your life.” This scripture strengthens
your faith; let you know that you are precious in His sight.
Guard
your heart and your mind always by speaking His words that set you free.
