As long as you live
in this world, you have battle you must fight, and for this reason you should
stay in the armies of God. Staying in the armies of God is not easy, indeed. There
will be so many trials and tests. During the test, you should stay in the
armies of God. What are the armies of God? It’s when you serve God.
Samuel firmly said
to the Israelites that they ought to serve the Lord and not turn aside from
following the Lord.
If
you fear the LORD and serve Him and obey His voice, and do not rebel against
the commandment of the LORD, then both you and the king who reigns over you
will continue following the LORD your God. (1 Samuel 12:14)
How to stay in the
armies of God?
Only
be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the
law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand
or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. (Joshua 1:7)
The word of God
will guide our paths. By taking heart and guarding heart according to the word
of God you will be able to stay in the armies of God.
Then what is God’s
promise when you stay in the armies?
Therefore,
my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of
the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians
15:58)
This is what God
promises you; that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Stay in the armies of
God, serve Him and obey His commands, because you will receive great rewards.
Those
who serve the Lord will always be in His protection.
