Proverb 8:11
For wisdom
is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared
with her.

Wisdom is
the ability to apply knowledge properly. It is true that sermons filled with
knowledge will tend to draw people. This is good, but our purpose in the Lord
is not just to draw crowds, but also to see people built together into the
house of the Lord. To do this we need wisdom.
The question
is, how do we get wisdom? We just need to ask as we are told in
[bible]james1:5[/bible]. “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,
who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
Knowledge
fills our lives, but wisdom builds them, as we read in
[bible]prove24:3-4[/bible]. Therefore, in the building of our lives, families,
churches, and ministries, the seeking of wisdom must be a priority. To do this
we must seek humility. God also said that we would have to become like little
children to enter the kingdom; we should be teachable.
Therefore,
in order to get wisdom, we should be humble and become like little children,
because by doing so we will learn. Sometimes fighting against our ego is
difficult, but God will give us wisdom as we ask Him.
Wisdom is the ability to apply
knowledge properly. We need wisdom to reach our life purpose according to God’s
plan. To get wisdom, we have to be humble before the Lord.
