Psalm 9:11

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.

When we have not known much about a person, we used to be so awkward of him. We talk briefly and fleetingly. But it is quite different when we already knew that person well. We can talk much with him, including the private stuff. Why? It is because we trust him. The more we know people, the more we are closed to and trust them. In other words, “the more we know, the more we love” or “unloved, unknown”.

Many Christians feel it is difficult to trust God. It is easy for one to simply claims that he/she believe in God. But many people still struggle with living by faith and fully trusting in God that He will take care of everything we need every day. It is hard to believe that He cares of our struggle. We can see that many children of God give up so easily and hand themselves over to fear and worry of this life.

Then how to fully trust in God? The psalmist explained, “Those who know Your name will put their trust in You” ([bible]psalm9:11[/bible]). Exactly. The key is knowing His name.

There are some ways to know God. Firstly, knowing Him through His Words. Secondly, through our own experience with God. As we live in obedience to Him, His power will me more and more revealed.

Reading His Words and having personal experience with Him will lead us to knowing Him more and more day after day. The question is, have you do these two things? If you have not, then start now. –GS

How deep we trust in God depends on how deep we know Him.
