Luke 8:15

But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.

Bible Reading for a Year [bible]prove17[/bible]; [bible]galat6[/bible]; [bible]iichr6-7[/bible]

Once upon a time, there are two grains lying on the floor of a warm and cozy storehouse. But later, a farmer came and told them, “I will bring you out of this cozy storehouse and plant you in soil. I will put you in the cold ground and cover you with the soil. Your surrounding will become so dark and you will be dead. But I promise you will grow abundantly and multiply.”

The first grain immediately refused the farmer’s idea. “I do not want it!” it said. “I don’t want it. I like my comfort, and I do not want to die.” However, the second grain thought very carefully of the farmer’s idea, and then it decided that pain and discomfort were worth the plentiful harvest he promised. So the farmer took the second grain and planted it in soil, while the first grain remained in the storehouse.

A few weeks later, the little green sprout came out on the ground where the second grain was planted. The sprout then grew and turned into a fruitful plant and produced hundreds of grains. More than 40 years later, the farmer planted all the grains originated from the second grain and the harvest multiplied year after year. Meanwhile, the first grain which refused to be planted was still in the storehouse, alone, and never multiplied—but it felt so comfortable.

What kind of grain are we? The first grain that defends its coziness and never multiplies or the second grain that gives itself to die and produces fruits for the Lord? The choice is yours.
