Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.

Whenever I think about God’s faithfulness among pain, I recall my old friend Carrie ten Boom, an incredible Dutch lady who hid Jews from the Nazis.
When her effort was discovered, the Nazis sent Corrie to prison in Ravensbruck—known as a terrifying concentration camp. As time passed by, Corrie was released from prison. Having been out of the concentration camp, she went around the world to tell about her pain, forgiveness, and joy during her time in Ravensbruck.
For thirty five years Corrie has never been living in her own place. However, when she was eighty five years old and her health condition getting worse, some of her friends gave her a beautiful house in California, USA. To her, the house was undoubtedly a luxury that she never dreamed on to her (and which she never chased for).
One day, her friend a director James Collier visited her. He said, “Corrie, didn’t God give you this beautiful house?” Corrie replied firmly, “Jimmy, when I was in Ravensbruck, God was so good to me as well!”
Some of you might be in terrifying or worrying situation. Yet just like what Corrie ten Boom showed us, do not be afraid and believe that God will be with you always.
Peace that God has given us is eternal and genuine.
