When Jesus was in this world, it was written that there were some women who faithfully accompanied Him while proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. One of them was Joanna, the wife Chuza, the manager of Herod Antipas’ household.
The Bible does not tell much about this person. However, in spite of her social state as the wife of the manager of Herod Antipas’ household and her abundant wealth, she faithfully supported Lord Jesus’ ministry and followed Jesus until His resurrection along with many others (Mark 15:40-41; Luke 24:2-3).
Joanna’s existence in various events in Jesus’ life showed that she faithfully served God in every circumstance. Not many people have a certain quality of faithfulness like Joanna did. She made decision wisely to invest her wealth, times, and life; it had eternal impact.
There are so many people who have already experienced God’s interference, moreover, they have experienced miracle after miracle, but did not show their gratefulness by being faithful unto God. Such people never know that actually they will be more blessed if they’re faithful or intimate to The Miracle Maker. God’s help is supposed to make us more grateful and faithful. Have you had a true faithfulness like Joanna has?
