When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

We all go through times when our faith is tested. Some of us, though, need to take the test over and over. God often allows things to happen in our lives to test our faith in Him. But we can be assured that He will not test or try us beyond what we can handle - though at times it can seem overwhelming.
When going through these times, we still need to lean on God, in fact, we need to lean on Him more. God is not a mean God. He doesn't let us go through times of testing just to be entertained. Not at all. He is our loving Father. He knows that going through these times builds our faith, it builds our character, and we are more able to help those that are going through the same things.
If you are going through a time of testing, remember God loves you and He will walk with you. He will bring you back into a time of blessing and hold you up.
