Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends

At the last supper, Jesus delivered an important command to the disciples so that they love each other ([bible]0John15:12[/bible]). Loving with the love which beyonds the boundaries of family ties, tribes, groups, and so on.
Jesus also said that love must be conducted with mutual sacrifice. Even if necessary it can be done by sacrificing our lives. According to Him , this is the greatest form of love ([bible]0John15:13[/bible]). And we know that the next day, Jesus practiced His words directly at by sacrificing His life on the cross to save us.
Most of us, we probably not until sacrifice our lives for others. However, the principle is that sacrifice is part of love true that is effective for all of us without exception. So, the sacrifice might be time, energy, feelings, money, and so on - depends on the needs of those who need our love. It is not easy, but He has given a perfect example of sacrificial love. Sacrifice is a part that can not be separated from love
