Many, Lord, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?” Let the light of your face shine on us

On this blessed age, we do not need bring a sacrificial animal in service or when we come before God. Then, what sacrifice we bring to God? Sacrifice is about our lives as what Apostle Paul conveyed to the people in Rome, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is your true and proper worship” (Romans 12:1).
Therefore we have to look after our lives according to God’s will. This is what God wants: a life that has no blemish. We sacrifice the best to God since God has already given the best to us firstly!
So, we have to give the best to God as a reward. By what? By worshipping Him heartily, having a fellowship heartily and serving Him by commitment. Many Christians who come to the church consider it as only routines; only sitting on, praising God without any expression, and playing a joke or hand phone while listening to the preach. Is that meant by giving the best?
Giving the best to God means that to “… not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness (Romans 6:13)
