When all things in this world are getting increase, such as financial crisis, waves of unemployment and we unfortunately live in that situation, we always have a fear and anxious in our mind so that our faith become weary.

We begin to think that our problems are too heavy and there is no hope anymore, in fact God promises that “Surely there is a future and your hope will not be cut off. “ (Proverb 23:18).

Joshua, himself, had some difficulties when he took Israel out of Egypt replacing Moses. Despite its challenges were not easy, Joshua had to deal with Israel which was a stiff-necked people. That’s why God told Joshua: be strong and courageous! This message was conveyed for 4 times, so that means in order to achieve God’s promise, we need to consider His message or commands in dealing with our enemies.

The enemy talks about diseases, financial crisis or other matters, however God promises, “I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you” (Joshua 1:5c). He will always be with us and helps us when we need Him, as what David says, “My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. (Psalms 121:2).

Why is His promise not realized in our lives yet? The problem is we are getting weary and have no forbearance waiting for His promise to be fulfilled; in fact God has His own time to fulfill His promise.
