1 Peter 1:18-19

Knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers,  but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ

How much does a canvas cost? It depends on who the painter is. How much does a signature cost? It depends on who sign it. Then, how much does a man cost? It depends on its Creator!

In God’s eyes, man has a great value. The verse in our scripture today describes that all of us are precious in His eyes. We are not redeemed by immortal things, welfare, or temporary things, but by the blood of Christ which is unstained and unblemished. Isn’t it awesome, a real proof that we are so precious in God’s eyes? Each of us is engraved on the palms of His hand and is continually before His eyes ([bible]Isaia49:16[/bible]). God so loves the world, then He sacrificed His begotten Son to deliver us ([bible]0John3:16[/bible]), plans a bright future which is full of hope in peace for all of us ([bible]Jerem29:11[/bible]), and provides all we need abundantly ([bible]Matth13:12[/bible]). These are evidences that we are truly having a great value, are so special, and are so precious in God’s eyes.

In whom we have our redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace ([bible]Ephes1:7[/bible]). We have a forgiveness of our trespasses and salvation by the blood of Christ. We are not only redeemed but also are justified by His blood, and therefore we are delivered from God’s wrath ([bible]Roman5:9[/bible]). This is our price in God’s eyes. Those who don’t respect God’s creation would deprive of human lives. For we were bought with a price, therefore we glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which are God’s. ([bible]iCori6:20[/bible]). All of us have to take ourselves well, live in the holiness, not because we are precious in man’s eyes, but because we are so precious in God’s eyes.

Our values is not located on what we have, but to whom that possess us.
