1Kings 15:5
Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.
Bible Reading for A Year:[bible]Psalm141[/bible];[bible]John1[/bible];[bible]iiSam9-10[/bible]
One of problems that faced by authors is about challenging to write any crimes honestly. When I do writing, I want those people who are good always be as what they are. However, even the most godly people also can do any wrong. So in order to have a trust from their readers, the authors must be honest to write the hidden evil inside themselves, the good people.
One reason that makes me believe that the Bible is true is that the author does not hide His chosen people’s deficiency. God is honest to those who have failure as the leader of His people. He does not tolerate their bad behavior, minimize their failures, or consider it as nothing. He reveals their mistakes, judge them, drop the consequences, and forgive them.
The most prominent example in the Bible is King David. He did not just grab another man's wife, but he also killed her husband to cover up his affair. Although has committed disgraceful acts, when he was reprimanded, David repented. He became a standard of how the next kings of Israel will be judged their hearts were"cleaving to the Lord his God" ([bible]iKing15:3,11[/bible]).
God knows the hearts of all people, and His love is for all. Although the truth of sin is painful, if it is admitted and forgiven, all of it can be used to re-draw our hearts to God.
You can not be hiding your sins until you are willing to Deal with it
