The Celebration of Unity (COU) which took place on yesterday (18/5) was the moment I've been waiting for since the World Prayer Assembly, May 2012. This is the first time I may look after one year, in which cross-denominational churches in Indonesia united in worshipping and glorifying the name of Lord.
To be honest, what happened in the COU should continue to occur in every fellowship among believers. Unity which has been a central theme of that day's activities should be a trigger of spirit when we meet other God’s churches.
When we meet Christians, we suppose to have a joy. Although they are not from the same church with us, we never assume them as strangers.
The Apostle Paul in his letter to the Galatians told that when we are in Christ then every single differences ranging from ethnic or any cultural would be disappear. Barriers of the world would apart, replaced by a similar label or identity, the followers of the Lord Jesus, the heir to the kingdom of Heaven.
Do not allow or let the devil deceive your thoughts. We are all one. It is His desire that we need to achieve and maintain until He comes for the second time. I also believe when God's people are united then the preaching of the Gospel will be expanded and there will be no one place in this land which have not heard the Good News. Hallelujah – ALS
Though our status and background are different by each other, the church of God is still one family
