2Corinthians 10:4
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds

When you are surrounded by problems, what steps would you take? Are you going to be like the Israelites when taken out of Egypt? Red Sea in front of them and Pharaoh's army behind them have started approaching. They were caught in the middle and blamed Moses.
When we're scared and stuck in a problem, we tend to rely on our own strength even blame circumstances, conditions, others and God for what we experienced. We like the Israelites. But not with Moses, his faith in God is unshakeable.
"Fear not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, that He will give it to you today: for the Egyptians whom you see today, you will not see again for ever. LORD will fight for you, and ye shall dwell alone. "(Exodus 14:13-14). Next, God made the sea split, bringing the Israelites to cross and drowned the Egyptian army.
One thing that strengthens us in this story is, without God, we would have lost the battle. With God, victory is a sure thing. Sometimes God involves us in wars, but sometimes we are only required to "silent."
We are engaged in a war or not, one thing for sure is God who fought on our behalf. God is the only safe refuge, if we had relied on ourselves or other people, then we are in a losing position. If you do not want to open up a gap for the enemy, make sure that every time you depend on God heartily.
