Ephesians 6:6

not with eyeservice, as men–pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

Bible Reading for a Year [bible]psalm13[/bible]; [bible]matth13[/bible]; [bible]genes25-26[/bible]

Daniel has been working as a contractor for 2 years. He was a loyal employee in the office. One day, his manager asked him to handle a home project. Daniel’s job was buying all of the building materials and supervising the construction. Finally Daniel took the job excitedly and joyfully.

But later he thought, “If I have full responsibility of this project, why don’t I cut the cost? I can use cheaper materials, so I would get more profit. Nevertheless, no one know what I am doing!”

Later, Daniel did exactly what crossed his mind. He ordered cheap concrete, second wood, and low-quality cable. He cut the cost of almost all things. Eventually the house was done, and the contractor came to him, he said, “Good job, Daniel! Since you have worked faithfully, I will give you this house!”

From the story of Daniel we learn that being real is important. In this life, honesty is necessary. We need to be honest not only with others, but also with ourselves. When you are honest with yourself, it is easy for you to be honest with others. Remember life needs no drama. It is good to build lives without a stage play.

You should be true to yourself; be real even when no one’s around.
