What if every body do everything by himself? Are all the works done perfectly? Of course not. Adam—the first human—needed Eve to do the tasks from God before falling into sin.
Thus, the author of Ecclesiastes had properly written “two people are better than one, because they get more done by working together” (Ecclesiastes 4:9 (NCV)). We cannot work by ourselves. We need other people to help us. No matter how smart or clever we are, we still need partners to help us in things we are not able to do.
Keep in mind that we are not perfect. We have weaknesses. When we look back at Adam and Eve, we see that the idea of working together comes from God. Though Adam was so close to Him, God realized that Adam needed a physical partner to talk to, to discuss with, and even to maintain the garden of Eden.
We need colleagues because by involving others, we may gain better result than working by ourselves.
Therefore, do not ever think that you do not need partner because the result of the work is much better than when you work by yourself.
No matter how negligible the partner’s role is, it must bring the positive impact in your work.
